Awarded Visit Scotland, quality assured 4 stars. Dupplin152 is based in the west end of Dundee, having been a doctors surgery since 1877. It has been renovated and cared for by us, Fiona and Bryan since 1997.
We offer our guests two comfortable en suite rooms. King, or superking with high quality bedding, feather duvets and a choice of pillows.
Smart TVs, USB ports, blackout curtains, Complimentary fresh and instant coffee and a choice of teas, local bottled water and a flask of fresh milk.
In your en-suite, there are bath sheets, complimentary toiletries and shower caps.
If you require assistance during your stay, there is a bell by the dining room door our private rooms are downstairs, at the back of the property.
For breakfast, we offer plenty of continental choices and warm pastries to ward off the hunger pangs until your hot food arrives. Fresh coffee, excellent chocolate and a selection of teas can also be “to go” when you leave us, along with any pastries you didn’t have room for. pop them in a napkin and we’ll find you a paper bag.
The armchair, Smart TV and original Victorian fireplace all add to the relaxed atmosphere, especially when the fire’s lit on dull winter mornings. The dining room is available to our guests to enjoy during their stay.
About the company
Dupplin152 bed and breakfast was established in 2017. We designed the King and Super king ensuite rooms the way we would like to find them. So the beds are superb quality, as is the bed linen, carpets and drapes.
The complimentary room and toilet items are plentiful and for more choice, you can help yourself 24 hrs to espresso, more teas and fresh fruit in the dining room.
The property retains its Victorian charm, with understated decor. The rooms are light and airy. Original features sit alongside antiques and miscellaneous paraphernalia found at French antique markets, so a little shabby chic turns up here and there.
The dining room is traditional Scots. The solid, wooden table seats four, with antique French and Scottish armchairs to relax in while enjoying your breakfast.
Fiona is our Chef. She will be cooking your breakfast and supper too, should you wish to dine in house.
Bryan is front of house and enjoys looking after our guests.
To the left of the front door is a secluded seating area, where you can relax with a coffee, or enjoy your breakfast al fresco. The walled garden is yours to enjoy.
